Best junior divers ready to shine in Kyiv
Over 260 participants from 25 countries aged 15 to 19 will compete for 25 sets of awards in 17 finals at the Liko Sports Centre of Kyiv, Ukraine.
After a successful edition in 2018, Kyiv is ready to host the FINA World Junior Diving Championships again this year. The event, initially planned in 2020, was postponed due to the covid-19 pandemic.
There are 17 finals on the menu of the competition. 10m platform and 3m springboards will host individual, synchro, mixed and team events
Over 260 participants from 25 countries aged 15 to 19 will take part into the competition. The eligible age groups for this competition was reviewed to ensure that divers who were eligible to compete in 2020 can still compete in this competition.
- Age Group A: 17, 18 and 19
- Age Group B: 15 and 16

The President of the Ukrainian Diving Federation Ihor Lysov is confident that the tournament will be held at the highest level and all participants will be satisfied with the organization of the event as it was in 2018.
The World Junior Diving Championships, it will be recalled, was supposed to take place at the end of 2020, but it was postponed for one year due to the coronavirus pandemic.
All World Junior Championship medallists will receive the mascot of the competition, the name of which will be decided by the fans through an online contest on the Ukrainian Diving Federation Facebook page.
WHERE TO WATCH
Due to quarantine restrictions, viewers will not be able to attend the Championship, but all sessions will be streamed live on fina.org, FINA You Tube and Facebook channel and XSPORT TV.
